By accessing and using the services provided by Happy Home Dream ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), including our website happyhomedream.com and all associated home renovation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately.
2. Services Overview
Happy Home Dream provides professional home renovation services including but not limited to: home decor and interior design, exterior and garden renovation, home security installation, fire safety solutions, home loan and warranty assistance, roofing upgrades, solar panel installation, window replacements, flooring upgrades, and bathroom remodeling.
Specific project details, timelines, materials, and costs will be outlined in individual service agreements and project proposals provided to each client.
3. Estimates & Pricing
- All estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
- Final pricing is confirmed upon signing a formal service agreement and may differ from initial estimates based on project scope changes.
- Any changes to the project scope after contract signing will be documented through formal change orders with updated pricing.
- All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to applicable state and local taxes.
4. Payment Terms
- A deposit of 25-30% is required before work commences, as specified in the service agreement.
- Progress payments are scheduled at agreed milestones throughout the project.
- Final payment is due within 15 days of project completion and client walkthrough.
- Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge.
- We accept payment via check, bank transfer, and major credit cards.
5. Project Timeline & Delays
- Project timelines are estimated in good faith and are subject to change due to weather, material delays, permitting, or circumstances beyond our control.
- We will communicate any anticipated delays promptly and provide revised timelines.
- Client-caused delays (e.g., scope changes, access restrictions) may extend the project timeline and affect costs.
6. Warranty
Happy Home Dream provides the following warranties:
- Workmanship Warranty: 5 years on all installation and renovation work.
- Material Warranty: As provided by the manufacturer, typically 10-25 years depending on materials used.
- Solar Panel Warranty: 25-year performance warranty on all solar installations.
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the applicable warranty period.
- Warranties do not cover damage caused by natural disasters, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
7. Permits & Compliance
Happy Home Dream will obtain all necessary permits required for the scope of work outlined in the service agreement. Clients are responsible for HOA approvals where applicable. All work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
8. Client Responsibilities
- Provide clear and timely access to the work area.
- Make timely decisions on materials, colors, and design selections.
- Inform us of any known structural issues, hazardous materials, or special conditions.
- Secure personal belongings and valuables from the work area.
9. Limitation of Liability
Happy Home Dream's total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our liability is limited to the direct costs of repairing or replacing defective work.
10. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made before work begins: Full refund of deposit minus a $500 administrative fee.
- Cancellations during active work: Client is responsible for payment of all work completed to date plus materials ordered.
- No refunds will be issued for work that has been completed and accepted by the client.
11. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, plans, renderings, and proprietary processes created by Happy Home Dream remain our intellectual property. Clients receive a license to use completed designs for their personal property but may not reproduce or share designs for commercial purposes without written consent.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of Texas, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
